1 Sheet Puffed Pastry or Pillsbury Premade Refrigerated Pie Crust Sheet

1 Brie Wheel

¼ Cup Chopped Pecans

½ Cup Raspberry Preserves

1 Egg

1 Tablespoon Water

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. On a cutting board open the sheet of puff and with a rolling pin roll it out to ¼ inch thickness. If using a pie crust sheet, no prep will be needed. Place the wheel of brie in the center of the pastry or pie crust and spread the raspberry preserves and pecans over the top.

Bring up the pastry carefully and completely cover the top of the cheese leaving a thin edge all the way around the cheese.

Move the brie to a cookie sheet. Mix the egg and water and brush over the pastry if desired. Wipe away any egg wash that drips onto the pan. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 30-40 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool for 5 min before serving as is or with crackers, toasted baguettes, sliced fruit or pita chips. May be served with prosciutto, salami, sausage, capicola for the perfect blend of sweet and salty mix or alongside almonds, walnuts, cashews, pistachios.
